The choreography platform for dance teams

About

Built by a dancer, for dancers

Coryo started with a frustration anyone who's run a dance group knows well: the tools don't talk to each other. Formations were in one app, the rehearsal schedule was in another, video was somewhere else entirely, and none of it connected. Every show meant hours of copy-pasting, chasing people across platforms, and hoping nothing fell through the cracks.

Why Coryo exists

The creator of Coryo is a dancer — not a software company that decided to enter the dance market. An actual choreographer who spent years running group dance projects and grew tired of the same broken workflow everyone else was stuck with.

The problem wasn't any single tool being bad. It was that none of the pieces connected. You'd build formations and then have to describe them in text to your team. You'd schedule a rehearsal and post the video somewhere else for review. You'd collect availability in a spreadsheet and manually cross-reference it with your calendar. The overhead of organizing the organization was eating time that should have gone into the choreography.

Coryo was built to eliminate that overhead — one platform where formations, schedule, attendance, video review, and stage projection all live together. Built by someone who needed it, designed for the people who still do.

Who uses Coryo

Coryo is used by K-pop cover groups mapping out position changes for competition, contemporary and hip-hop teams managing multi-month rehearsal cycles, and professional dance studios running multiple choreographers across multiple projects at once.

The free plan is designed for small groups just getting started — one project, up to 7 members, no credit card. Pro unlocks unlimited projects and the full feature set. Studio adds live floor projection and a shared workspace for studios with multiple choreographers working simultaneously.

Frequently asked questions

What is Coryo?

Coryo is a choreography planning platform built by a dancer, for dancers. It combines a formation editor, rehearsal scheduler, video review, marketplace, and live floor projection system in one place — so dance teams stop losing work across disconnected apps.

Who made Coryo?

Coryo was created by a dancer who experienced firsthand how fragmented the tools were for managing group choreography — separate apps for scheduling, video, and formations that never talked to each other. Coryo was built to solve that problem in one unified platform.

Is Coryo free?

Yes. Coryo has a permanently free plan that includes 1 active project, up to 7 members, a formation editor, and link-based video review. No credit card required.

What makes Coryo different from other choreography apps?

Most choreography tools only solve one piece of the puzzle — a grid editor, or a scheduler, or a video tool. Coryo is the only platform that connects all of these in a single workflow: you plan formations, schedule rehearsals around member availability, review rehearsal footage with timestamped comments, and (on Studio) project live formation positions onto the stage floor.

What types of dance groups use Coryo?

Coryo is used by K-pop cover groups, competition dance teams, contemporary companies, hip-hop crews, and professional dance studios managing multiple choreographers and projects.

Does Coryo have a floor projection feature?

Yes. Coryo Studio includes a real-time multi-projector floor projection system that maps dancer formation positions onto the physical stage floor using projected light. It supports multiple projectors, calibration profile saving, and remote control.
